The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) organized the ITU/FAO Workshop on"The Future of Digital Agriculture: Role of Artificial Intelligence", supported by AgriBITs, a VNU Europe summit. The Workshop took place on 17 June 2024 from 09h30 to 16h15 CEST in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

By examining both the promising opportunities and the significant challenges, the event aims to provide a thorough understanding of how AI can revolutionize farming practices. Discussions centered on how AI-driven innovations can enhance efficiency, promote sustainability, and ensure food security.
